Sreekumar Thottikamath
Sreekumar Thottikamath (Sree) is an accomplished operations and supply chain professional, with over three decades of experience across technical operations, manufacturing, quality systems, project and program management, and supply chain sustainability. He is based out of Singapore. His professional journey has been marked by positions with multinational corporations in India, Singapore, and Vietnam, where he held Asia Pacific responsibilities and travelled globally. His diverse background spans various industries that include Chemical, Pharmaceutical, and Textile. With a keen focus on sustainability, Sree has been an independent consultant in his own enterprise Apex Business solutions and in his recent engagements has been working in strategic sourcing and client/vendor relationships. This has allowed him to leverage his experience for environmental impact in tandem with business success. He partnered with a startup focusing on building a sustainable circular procurement platform, allowing them to utilise their Supply Chain Collaboration Network (SCCN) to help companies enable sustainable commerce, becoming more adaptable and resilient. Prior to this, Sree was General Manager of Asian Operations for the Alpine Group, and Partner/Senior Consultant at ChemPharm Asia, providing his expertise in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries. He started his career as a Senior Process Engineer with Grasim Industries Limited in India, before moving to Singapore in 1994 as a Chemical Engineer and Plant Manager with Sime Darby. In 2009 he joined Pfizer Nutrition where he served as the Associate Director of Regional External Supply, leading third-party manufacturing operations for the Asia Pacific region of Pfizer’s Infant Nutrition business unit, managing a cross-functional team, ensuring the manufacture and supply of high-quality products from external supply networks. With skillsets in vendor selection, cost controls and change management, and achieving successful plant start-ups, Sreekumar has excelled in handling business and product processes, managing budgets of up to $100 million.
