K S Ganesan (KSG) is a visionary leader in digital transformation, known for his Transformational expertise in engineering digital platforms for scale and business impact. With decades of experience as a global executive at leading companies such as Cognizant, IBM and Microland before that, he has come to be known and highly regarded as an expert in the industry.
In his last role at Cognizant as its Global Technology Leader & Automation Head, KSG was a member of the Cognizant Global management driving Technology transformation programs across Industry verticals with a focus on creating AI based Tools and Accelerators that were used across Horizontal Service lines.
Additionally, KSG was also the CTO of Cloud and Infrastructure Services, building Global Cloud on AWS, Azure, Hybrid Cloud and ServiceNow Practice lines as a critical Business Unit. In the same role he was also responsible for driving innovation and spearheading transformations across IT agility, efficiency, and business processes.
Prior to Cognizant, KSG was with IBM as a Cross Competency Executive where he played a vital role in constructing and winning large-scale strategic outsourcing deals, in addition to supervising technology operations across several domains such as Hybrid Cloud and Expert Integrated Systems.
His first senior assignment was at Microland, over a decade and a half ago, as CTO and VP of Engineering, providing strategic leadership during the organisations transition to an Infrastructure Management company. He was India’s First CCIE way back in the late 90s and has remarkably continued with that program for now over 2 decades.
KSG has managed engagements across various industry verticals, leveraging next-generation architecture and models, propagating his knowledge and expertise across multiple organisations with a view to driving large scale infrastructure and digital transformations.
